PoshBoard 2.0 Released !

A brand new version of poshboard is now available on codeplex.

The goal of this new version is to enhance the PoshBoard experience and suppress many limitations of the previous version.

What's new

• New Portal builded from scratch
• Now based on Windows authentication access : you can set up Admin/Visitor access for each portal, grants impersonation or not for each user/group, etc...
• Simple XML Configuration file let you manage Portals and Access
• GUI configuration management for Superadmins directly in PoshBoard
• Unified model for all Silverlight elements : now Silverlight grid can be embedded in any other controls (even another grid)
• New Silverlight controls : Tabs, CoverFlow...
• Enhanced chart and controls parameters : you can set title size, dataseries colors...
• Live update mode on whole page and/or each controls
• Easy installation : you can set poshboard as a web site or Web application, you can clone it several time on a single website...
• Portals management page for SuperAdmins : add / remove new portals easely, grant access, impersonate...
• Small : only 1,5 Mb !

PoshBoard will also be declined in several components :

Today, PoshBoard.Web is released. You'll soon be able to get PoshBoard.Win : a Winform application based on WPF. The same code will be usable both in PoshBoard.Web and PoshBoard.Win !

I'll release a Script Scheduler and a Page Designer, more info soon on theses points.
